Organic Oregano Oil

The Origanum Vulgare L. plant is a hardy, bushy perennial herb with an erect hairy stem, dark green oval leaves, and a profusion of pink flowers clustered in heads at the top of the branches. Oregano Essential Oil was used for thousands of years in the Mediterranean region; the use of oregano has been traced all the way back to Ancient Greece, - sometimes referred to as Carvacrol. Hippocrates, the Greek physician, used it to improve stomach issues and breathing problems.

Oregano oil protects against viral, bacterial, and fungal infections. It relieves allergy symptoms and also treats respiratory ailments like a sore throat or sinus infection. Oregano oil soothes inflammation and pain that may occur from a sprain, tendinitis, athlete's foot, and arthritis. It can also reduce symptoms of oncoming menopause. Oregano oil is extremely strong and should never be put on the skin directly always use a carrier oil, if inhaling make sure not to touch the nose! It works wonders as diffusing oil.

General: As with all essential oils, never use them undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with an expert practitioner that is qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. If being used during pregnancy please consult your doctor as well. Keep away from children. If applying an essential oil to your skin always perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body after you have properly diluted the oil in an appropriate carrier.
