Spices that are always in my cupboard are the Simply Organics line they include: Cayenne Pepper, Ground Cumin, Paprika, Onion Powder, Curry Powder, Ground Ginger Root, Italian Seasonings, Oregano, Garlic Powder, Basil, Ground Pepper, Chili Powder, Ground Cinnamon, Ground Turmeric Root, and Madagascar Vanilla Extract.
Apple Cider Vinegar – where do I begin? If you have read my book already you know I drink it daily for optimal health. And I do use it in my meals, but did you know I also use it on my hair, scalp, and face when need be. Are you interested in how? Ask me and I will tell you but for now this section is to speak about the brand I only trust and where you can find it if you cannot find it locally. Bragg Organic Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar is the only vinegar I use. I have drunk it for over 6 years now and have never been sick. I even add it to my dog’s water and have noticed great improvements – please refer to my book to see how to do this we call it her magic water. If you choose to buy a different brand it is extremely important you still purchase a brand that is organic, raw and unfiltered, that has the mother in the bottom of the glass bottle. This is the true apple cider vinegar and the one that will keep you and your loved ones healthy.
Another staple in my cupboard is Really Raw Honey. This is the only honey I purchase it is my go to if my family shows signs of a cold brewing and it has helped those colds stay at bay – please refer to my book to see how I have helped heal them and keep them from being sick throughout the years.
Now I must tell you about my favorite Ground Golden Organic Flax Seed Meal. This is not the type I buy but the closest online I have found, it needs to be ground or our digestive system cannot digest it. So if you do buy it whole you can grind it to a powder yourself. I use this in my morning shake everyday. Since my concussion I need to make sure I properly feed my brain. Flaxseeds are high in omega 3 essential fatty acids and have been shown to also have heart healthy effects. To me a must everyday!
