I bake for special occasions nothing fancy, but I try to take everyone’s favorites and put my own spin on it to make it a bit healthier than what it starts out to be.
There are things I need on hand to be able to do this and sometimes they can be a little hard to find. I find myself going to the grocery store, the organic market, and to the co-op to find these items. None of these places are close to each other and you may relate to my dilemma. So here I have found those items I love for you, I hope this helps you if you cannot find an item you love in your local stores.
The items I need on hand and in my pantry are Garbanzo Bean Flour, All Purpose Flour, Rolled Oats, GF Rolled Oats, Baking Powder, Cocoa, Cinnamon, Lemon Juice, Apple Cider Vinegar, Honey, Vanilla Extract, Flax Seeds, Peanut Butter, crunchy too and Almond Butter. As for chocolate chips these are my go to, but I do like the mega chunks for certain recipes and when I am trying to be even more healthier I like these chips.
